Standardization – Municipal Office for the Promotion and Use of Valencian

1. WHAT IS THE MUNICIPAL OFFICE OF PROMOTION AND USE OF VALENCIANO?

The Municipal Office of Promotion and Use of Valencian is a service of the City of Moncofa responsible for promoting the use of Valencian in all the municipal level.

• Ensure compliance and the development of the Municipal Regulation for Linguistic Normalization.

• Inform citizens on aid or subvencions to promote the use of Valencian, from the Generalitat and other administrations and facilitate procedures in the application for aid.
• Organize refresher courses for staff of the City Council and other sectors of the population.
• Organize municipal promotional campaigns and language awareness.

• Plan actions and activities aimed at the progresive normalization of the Valencian.
